Mexico's 32 federal entities span vibrant metropolitan centres and premier resort coastlines. Mexico City's premier districts (Polanco, Condesa, Santa Fe) set national architectural benchmarks; the Riviera Maya and Quintana Roo lead global resort condominiums; Guadalajara and Monterrey drive industrial and tech innovation hubs. Estate Ulagam cross-checks public notary title deeds, municipal property tax bills, and federal consumer protection standards.

Foreign Ownership & Non-Resident Acquisition in Mexico
Under Article 27 of the Mexican Constitution, the 'Restricted Zone' (Zona Restringida) comprises all land within 100 kilometers (62 miles) of national borders and 50 kilometers (31 miles) of coastlines. Foreign individuals cannot directly hold title to residential land inside the Restricted Zone; they must acquire title through a bank real estate trust called a 'Fideicomiso' (held for up to 50-year renewable periods by a licensed Mexican bank under Ministry of Foreign Affairs permit / SRE). Outside the Restricted Zone, foreign nationals can purchase fee-simple property directly by signing the Calvo Clause.

Every Mexico submission is checked against the same working set of records before it can be reviewed for publication, governed by Código Civil Federal & Official Mexican Standard NOM-247-SE-2021. None of this is a substitute for independent legal advice — it is the paperwork our desk asks an advertiser to produce, and cross-checks before an advertisement goes live.

Municipal property tax receipt and Certificate of Freedom from Encumbrances.
